Established in 2015, Seattle Sound Temple is the manifestation of a long-held dream of sound healing practitioner Irene Ingalls to be surrounded by beautiful Alchemy Singing Bowls.
Its creation was catalyzed by a powerful personal experience of initiation and healing which clarified the profound nature of vibrational medicine, inspiring a desire to bring more awareness and accessibility to this universal gift.
The Sound Temple is, at its core, a sanctuary devoted to healing through the transformational power of sound. It was built and is maintained with love and intention as a true haven for all, connecting and reconnecting anyone and everyone to their innate ability to self-heal through entraining to high frequency vibration. It is with great joy that we support real transformation through sharing and facilitating the use of these tools and practices.
Irene began her sound healing training in 2004, studying with 2 primary mentors: world renowned sound healer and teacher, Tom Kenyon, and sound healing pioneer and teacher Jonathan Goldman. Incorporating her deep connection with the wisdom teachings of the ancient mystery schools and various energetic modalities such as Alchemical Healing, Light Language and Reiki, she has maintained her private practice in sound healing for 17 years, working with individual clients and groups of all sizes.
As the founder and owner of Seattle Sound Temple, Irene’s vision is to continue to create a sanctuary devoted to healing through the transformational power of sound, supporting humanity in remembering and restoring each individual’s access to their own innate gifts and abilities as a sovereign vibrational being.
Irene also leads spiritual retreats and pilgrimages to sacred sites in Egypt and Peru, working closely with indigenous healers, shamans and tour guides to collaboratively create exciting spiritual quests that are transformative and life changing.
Karen Knight
Music is Karen’s first fluent language. Her musical path led her to become a classical pianist through her degree at the prestigious Jacobs School of Music. She has been teaching piano since she was 20.
During her musical career, Karen became aware of the healing power of sound. She pursued this interest by becoming a certified Sound Healer and certified Reiki practitioner.
Karen brings her expertise, intuition and love for the alchemy singing bowls to assist each person looking for their first bowl or adding new bowls to an ongoing collection.
Immense gratitude to my dear friend and colleague Alison Laird Craig who was there by my side designing, teaching, collaborating, and organizing the Sound Temple from the time of its creation in 2015 – 2021.
